Invitation
Understanding and accurately predicting the fracturing and failure processes of rocks and other geomaterials are critically important in many geotechnical engineering fields – mining engineering, deep geothermal energy, nuclear waste disposal, underground energy storage. This workshop is desinged to provide a platform for focused scientific exchange on the latest developments and applications in fracturing geomechanics. Many world leading scientists in various reseach fields from Europe, Asia, and Australia will present their research activities and resuls in this workshop. You are cordially invited to attend this inspiring event.
The workshop is free of charge and space is limited.
Interested people are invited to register by sending an email providing their name and affiliation to hannes.hofmann@gfz-potsdam.de.
